After the student meets our program requirements, the student is eligible to apply for the ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) exam for credentialing. The Bon Secours St. Mary’s Hospital School of Medical Imaging Radiologic Technology curriculum fulfills the educational requirements for certification and state licensure (if applicable). After successful completion of the exam, the student becomes a registered technologist and can proudly wear R.T.(R) behind their name. This is a critical requirement as you apply for employment and seek to meet employer expectations.
