SOMI Hosts Student Orientation
On Friday, August 8, St. Mary’s Hospital School of Medical Imaging (SOMI) held an orientation for its new students. The day began with a warm welcome from the admissions team, followed by an engaging icebreaker activity. Students then had the opportunity to hear from Dean and Campus Director, Jody Crane, who introduced Radiologic Technology. They also met with their advisors and learned about the resources available through the Center for Student Success. Additionally, the orientation included a tour of the facility, a uniform fitting, and sessions with Financial Aid, the Registrar, IT, and Compliance teams. The day’s events provided the new students with a comprehensive introduction to their program and the support they’ll receive throughout their journey at SOMI, leaving them well-prepared and excited to begin their studies.
