A safe and respectful commencement ceremony honoring our graduates is the goal at graduation. Please read these important ceremony details to ensure a seamless event for everyone attending.

Dress Code

  • Official academic regalia is required to participate in the commencement ceremony.
     
  • Graduates should dress in a manner appropriate to the occasion. 
     
  • Caps may be decorated in an appropriate and non-offensive manner. Nothing may be hanging off the sides or underneath.
     
  • Cap and gown must be ordered through Herff Jones.
     
  • Caps and gowns will be distributed directly to students. 
     
  • The School covers the cost of cap, gown, tassel, as well as shipping and handling fee if the order is submitted by April 25, 2025.

Cords and Stoles
Designated service and academic cords are awarded to undergraduate students who have participated in service trips, provided service to the School, and/or received Honors. Stoles not issued by the School may not have any messaging. Cords not issued by the School may not be worn during the commencement ceremony.

Honors graduates wear apricot cords. Graduates who have achieved Honors earned a GPA of 3.50 or higher.

Service graduates are recognized with a royal blue cord. Service includes participation in Mission Trips and Alternative Spring Break.

Pay Tuition Bill, Return Books 
Please confirm with the Bursar that your bill is paid in full. All library books must be returned by May 9, 2025.
